Hurricane IKE - UGH!

Here are a few pictures of our house after Ike's visit last Fri/Sat. We got power back late Wednesday night and were able to come home with the kids Thursday evening. It's all been pretty stressful but we're very lucky to only have tree damage and some water leaks on carpet that we wanted to replace anyway.
It wasn't possible to enter or exit from the front door.

Paige 8 Month Portait Pics

She's not shy, that's for sure! These were taken Sunday, September 7th. We had fun :)

Paige is 8 months old! My how time flies! She is so great. She started officially crawling the day after her birthday and is so happy. Now she just crawls over to the nearest object she can pull up on and tries to walk. We'll see what she does this month. Clapping is fun for her and she says mama and dada alot although I don't think she is saying the words in context at all. We're enjoying watching Chace interact with her. He brings her toys and sings to her. He also loves to give her kisses and "zerberts".

August 2008

August was a fun month even thought it was HOT, HOT, HOT! Chace started his new montessori school on 8/18 and is doing great! We can tell he's much happier even though he misses some of his old friend. Best buddies Owen and Thomas and families were able to come over and swim one Saturday which was nice. Paige is growing fast and as cute as can be. She spent most of the month being frustrated that she couldn't crawl or walk yet. Here are some August pics...
